Brown discharge instead of my period?

Could be any number of things, from stress to diet, or pregnancy. You'll have to take a pregnancy test to find out. If it is like that again next time and you're not pregnant you should tell your doctor to be sure it isn't anything serious. (my period was like that while I was pregnant the first month, then it went away)

Instead of my period I had no blood but brown discharge for about 4 days. Im in a relationship and dont use birth control we have been together for almost 4 years. I have no other symptoms of anything else. Any ideas?

you could have just had a light period but not likely. Sometimes when you placenta implants its self to the wall of your uterus you will get some brown discharge. If you are prego in about a week you may start to have more symptoms. Go Take a test and be sure today:)

Don't worry. It sounds like your period is just light for that month. This happens to me sometimes. When your period is light, it doesn't run all the way down and just kinda sits there in your you-know-what. This makes it coaguate and turn brown after it drys. But I think you should get on birth control. I just had a baby and it doesn't sound like your pregnant! After I got pregnant. I KNEW! My period just dryed up like the desert....Atleast use condoms. You never know who has an STD

Could be stress, could be a ovarian cyst, and only old blood came for your period, because the cyst trapped the new. I would call your doctor and see. Implantation bleeding only lasts a day maybe two and is pink or red. And if no other symptom, I would say something else is going on. So talk to your doctor.

yes, its very normal. It just means that the blood is flowing very slowly so its loosing its oxygen and turning brown. Like a scab turns brown. It happened to me too.

Defiantely could be pregnant, i got small ammounts of brown discharge in the first 2 months of my pregnancy - not alot though

ive heard that its okay for it to be brown like the first couple days because its old blood coming out....but 4 days or more? i really think you should go to the doctor and just get things checked up on. its prolly not too scary so dont worry

Sounds alot like implantion bleeding to me. Wait till you miss your period and then you will know for sure.
