Did someone try to kill barack OBama?

Yes I saw on yesterdays news that 2 or 3 guys were planning on killing him but didnt get to go through with there plan. Im sure Its definately not the last attempt at all. I dont like the idea of killing people on how they look or whatever because they really cant help it. I heard he will probally either get killed or lose the race and a huge riot will start. I work at a gun place and alot of people say there stocking up in case one of the 2 events occur. I hope nothing happens but i cant control any one but me
