Information about International Flights?
I've never been on an international flight before, so I'm looking for an experienced someone to clue me in on some things! How comfortable are the seats? Are they the same size as other planes used for same nation air travel? Do they serve a meal? Do they show a movie? Any tips and advice about flights that will take a extended period of time are much appreciated too! Thanks!

there should be entertainment on board the flight like movies and games. the seats r a bit bigger and mre softer , u also get a pillow and blanket. the planes should be bigger becasue ur ehading to anoother country. and of course they serve meals,(singapore airlines has great meals) u can also (on cathay pacific) order free snacks, umm there is also on malaysai airlines toys and cards and dominoes to play with. thats it

Unfortunately, you didn't provide enough information to answer most of your question. Which countries are you flying between? Which airline? That makes a big difference.
A short flight between two countries in Europe, or from the US to the Caribbean, won't offer anything special. A lengthy flight from the US to Europe or Asia will typically have a movie and meals. However, the airline that you're flying makes a difference. United, for example, is going to start making economy passengers pay for meals on international flights. Some airlines offer personal entertainment systems that give you a choice of movies; some show one movie to everyone on an overhead screen.
Economy class seats are basically the same regardless of whether the flight is domestic or international.
If you wish to e-mail me with more information, I'll give you a better answer.

It is just like domestic, just a bit better. The seats are the same, a meal is generally served, though the US carriers will probably at least charge for it soon, movies are show, normally several on a seat-back screen. Only tip I can think of is not to drink much alcohol and move around the cabin to avoid DVT.
