I have to survey some people for this class on the psychology of creativity. There are no right or wrong answers! I'm looking for thoughtful answers with short explanations. Please include your age range, gender, and occupation if you are willing to share that information.

    How would you define "creativity"?

Can anyone be creative? If not, what type(s) of people can be creative?

Is creativity something you are born with or learned? Does it an inherited trait?

What value does society place on creativity? What value do you place on creativity?

If any, what positive influences can creativity have on our society?

  • Poached seal on the beach?

*MAY BE GRAPHIC FOR SOME VIEWERS*

Yesterady I found a dead seal on the beach, next to it were 2 trash bags and a pair of latex gloves. The seal was missing it's head, tail, flippers... it was basically a torso. I don't know much about seal poaching but the cuts seemsed to be clean and not animal inflicted.

I called the local animal control who where off for the weekend so they directed me to the police and they said there was nothing they could do about it.

Who else can I call? Fisheries and Wildlife is off till Monday and I'm not sure if this is something I should bother the 24hour Game Warden over.

It's been high tide and the body was still there this morning, I'm just really disturbed by this because this is a beach where there are a decent amount of families and children.

Any information on seal poaching would be great too, as I've found it's hard to find.

Price range should be no more than $275 at most.

  • Could incorrect towing damage a steering column? What are the possible consequences of incorrect towing?

My car was towed flatbed, loaded from the rear. The tow truck driver didn't align the back of the truck to my car straight on, so he snatched the car over to align it up before pulling it up onto the bed.

I found that my steering column has been ripped off. The whole right side of the column is dangling off. The entire aluminum cast housing is broken and the bolts along with the plastic attached to them is broken off (clean breaks).

Could this have happened as a cause of incorrect towing?

How can a steering column break?

How can a steering column possibly break?

Other than three or more grown men thrashing against the wheel or a front end collision how could my steering column could have broken? I got my car towed (flatbed, from the rear) and I found my steering column was broken.

The whole aluminum cast housing was broken off (clean breaks) along with the bolts and plastic attached to them. The right side of the steering column is just hanging there.

    How could this have happened?

  • Help with setting up dual monitors to a computer?

My boyfriend is a game design major that's been itching to get a dual monitor setup for his custom built computer. I don't know much about computers myself, so bare with me. I'll add info if requested!

I know that you need to have plenty of VRAM (says a guide) but I have to idea what that is to be honest... I also know that you need to have two port things in back of the video card.

Right now he has a EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS video card. Specifications I found here :

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

I just need to know if this is going to work with the card he has now. Hooking it up and getting the monitor to work doesn't look hard but I just don't want to have to return the monitor or buy another video card.

Thank you all who reply in advance, I'll be checking back and I'll be sure to award the best answer! Thanks!

I'm on a custom built computer with Windows XP.

Please don't reply with 'try restarting' because it's already been tried. Thanks.

  • Black light bulbs for track lighting? Confused!?

I have a set of track lighting in my apartment and I was thinking it may look neat to have blacklights in them for Halloween! But I don't want anything bad to happen, like a fire during my party.

The track lighting came with Bulbrite Flood 65W, 130V bulbs in them.

So I'm a little confused, do I look for something with the same wattage? Do I need a flood light still or will any bulb work? Please help me out! Thank you!

  • Why won't my car's interior lights turn off?!?

I have a 97 Pontiac Bonnevillse SSEi. Today I got in my car and started to drive, and I noticed that my interior lights wouldn't shut off. Door lights, overhead lights, etc. Everything that would turn on when the door is open wouldn't shut off. I checked the doors, the trunk, all the switches and owner's manual and I'm stumped!!! For now I've pulled the fuse but why is this happening? What's causing this problem?

  • Can I use an out of state car to take my driver's license test in Georgia?

I moved to GA, but I don't have my lisence from another state. so I got my permit and I'm ready to take the test, but can I use an out of state car to take the road test? I have a car I can borrow from a friend, but it is registered and insured in another state. Is that ok or do they make you take the test in a car with Georgia plates? Thanks.

  • What can I use for a car to get my Class D Driver's Lisence in Gerogia?

I transfered my permit, but I don't have a car to take the test in. My girlfriend is willing to let me drive her car for the test but being new to the area, I don't know the rules as far as a car to take the test in goes. She's 18 and has a car registered, insured, and inspected in Massachusetts. Can I use her car for the test? What are the rules? I can't seem to find them anywhere! Is it also okay that the emergency brake is a petal on the driver's side floor and not by the shifter? There is also a center console. I ask because MA is very strict on these rules. Please let me know! Thanks.
