My 16 year old daughter keeps changing boyfriends because they're boring, should I be worried ?

No worries, young people need different experiences. Changes is good for them and they can learn a lot. There are more things you need to worry. Make sure no drugs used, make the right decisions etc...

Nothigs wrong, just make sure shes not sleeping with every single one of them. Then id say something is wrong because she sounds a little lost and out of a little selfrespect.

But the dating game is all about finding the right guy. She not going to find him right away. Shes finding out what she likes/what she wants. Boring sucks!

I would be. Can she give a few details by what she means by "boring"? It could be that they are dull conversationalists - fair enough, have no sense of humor - ok, too. But start to get worried if she considers them boring because they won't drive fast, take her to parties every night, or if they are just the types to put school, family and work before fun and good times. Then she is just a thrill seeker and could be putting her safety at risk and be throwing away all of her opportunities (school) on party and fun.

Boring is safe but its not what a 16 year old will be looking for, she as most girls do around that age want someone dangerous, a dare devil. They want the bad boy motorcycle kind of guy, that's the one you should start worrying about.

im 16 and my boyfriend can sometimes be boring but it doesnt mean ill just get rid of him and move onto the next one! then again i guess when your 16 you dont want someone boring, you want someone really fun and someone who you always want to be around. im fine with my bf cos at the end of the day i like spending time with him and im a shy person anyway so its not like i get much of a choice when it comes down to boys anyway :P if your daughter keeps changing boyfriends then she must be popular with the boys and i dont think theres much of a problem with it, the problems begin if she is still dumping boyfriends for being 'boring' in the next few years cos it sounds to me like a phase she should grow out of soon :) i think the whole thing about bfs is that especilaly at this age, they are hyped up to be brilliant and amazing and when you actually get one you realise that its nothing incredibly amazing so i think she just needs to realise that in reality everyone is a little bit boring

Yes! Of course your should be worried. A 13 yr old shouldn't b dating first of all. Second what parent allows a 13 to date a 16 yr old. The difference in age might not seem to be much. But when you think about maturity its a huge difference.

Yes, it's safe. But she's 16. Boring isn't what she wants. My 16 year old sister is the same way. Gets bored real easy with boys. They're only 16. It's harmless. Don't worry.

Boring is safe and good for a husband but at 16 it's not considered a plus. I wouldn't worry. I would be glad she is trying out different people to see who she is most compatible with. When she is ready to find a husband, she'll know what she wants.

im 16 and i left my boyfriend cus he was boring but he had a tatoo at 14 and gets drunk every saturday night in the middle of Birmingham town center. he could be boring in a different way then u thing. mine was boring cus he couldnt talk to me.
