Can your mouth smell like cigarette smoke from just being around it?

A friend of mine told me they quite smoking but has family members who smoke... im not around them all the time so i cant tell if they really quite or just saying they did. I asked why they smelled of cigarette smoke especially in the mouth it wasn't strong smelling but it was still there.

No, your mouth can't smell like smoke, just from being around others. Sounds like someone is BS'ing you.

No not unless your kissing them. You can get secondhand smoke from exposure to them but it can not transfer to your mouth unless you are smoking yourself or kissing and even then it would take a pretty heavy smoker to do that.
