i would wear a solid color dress shirt and matching dockers or dress pants, they dont have to be the same color just complimentary...

for instance: tan dockers will go with brown, black or blue

yes, be confident and shake his or her hand before the interview

be honest, be yourself... you can do this! this job is yours if you want it! good luck!

unless the job is in a junkyard or something like that, I would not wear jeans but what you should wear depends on the job you are going for. if you know what the employees there wear try to dress to that level or a step better but slacks and a polo shirt would be an absolute minimum.slacks and a button down shirt would be better

DO NOT WEAR JEANS!!!!!! no matter what kind of job interview this please don't wear jeans you have to look presetable. a button down shirt with dark slacks and clean shoes is fine. No visible tats either and look clean. Also talk loud and clear, never say "umm" and shake their hand and say its very nice to meet you. make sure you go over some practice interview questions so when you get asked something you won't get caught off guard and having to think too long.

    hope this helps, good luck

Button down with slacks and yes, shake his/her hand - firmly

    Not crushing and not lightly.

Your handshake says a lot about you, it is a show of confidence.

Be ready to answer 1 - What is your weakness (tell your weakness but elaborate on how you can turn it for a strength)

What is your strength (tell your strength, do be confident, but do not come off as bragging or swollen headed.)

Another is why would you be an asset or what do you bring to the table that others do not.

    So ponder these questions.

Oh, and when they ask you about yourself, they are NOT referring to your personal life (ie; married children where you live, etc.), they refer to professional life. Since this is your first job, talk about accomplishments at College or H.S. or volunteer work., or groups you belong to. Awards, etc.

Don't wear the jeans! Buttoned down shirt with slacks is good.

Take a bath, shave, get a hair cut, if you have time. Don't wear ANY cologne/after shave. Neutral smells are best. Shine your leather shoes. You'd be surprised at how many bosses look at shoes to help make a decision. Answer EVERY Question truthfully. Don't make jokes but listen to his if he tells one. Don't cross your legs. It looks too lackadaisical.

Be there at least 5 minutes early. Speak nicely to the receptionist.

    GOOD LUCK ! !

Good luck! Talk politely. Learn about the company you are being interviewed

Also prepare a handful questions to ask, when they ask you if you have any questions.

Be observant..if the interviewer is formal,be the same.If they are casual,be semi casual..

Dress as nice as you can. It is not possible to overdress for an interview but it is possible to under dress. you should be as formal as possible and as polite as possible in all your dealings with the person interviewing you. Other than that be confident and good luck.

What kind of job is it? Don't sweat it. All you have to do is convince them how productive you can be. Remember, your selling yourself and never show that your in need. Tell them your a fast learner and you will do your best to perform your work duties.
