Hair drying naturally - curly, greasy?

Hair drying naturally - curly, greasy?

Hey,

I have decided to give my hair a wavy look. i like the idea of washing your hair, plaiting it and then sleeping on it. I used to do this when i ws a kid, but now my hair gets greasy very quickly. I usually have to wash it everyday. I tried to wash it the night before, but in the monring it feels greasy.

I usually blow dry because if i let it dry naturally, it feels a little horrible.

I was wondering if i was to sleep on my hair wet, how could i avoid it looking greasy during the day?

Thanks in advance.

i have curly hair that is a bit below my shoudlers. (about 3 inches) and it also has a lot of volume when i put no product in it, especially because i have layers. i recently found a way to style my natural curly hair that works for me. i shower then squeeze my hair out with just my hands so it is not dripping. then comb my hair with a wide toothed comb. then use garnier fructis anti humidity smoothing milk leave in conditioner every day after the shower. then i take garnier fructis curl construct mousse. i take as much as i feel like i will need (dont take too much) and i put it all over my hair, especially in the spots that get very frizzy. then i take a tshirt (not a towel) and scrunch my hair until all of the curls are formed nicely. sometimes if it is a humid day, i take my spary gel for curly hair (or you can use regular gel) and put a little bit on those frizzy areas and scrunch it again with the tshirt. you need to use the tshirt bc a towel will make your hair frizzy. i think the mousse really helps to take unnecessary volume out of my hair. but if you want to keep the volume you can fluff up your hair a lot with your hands and shake it up and down a little bit. after this i just scrunch a few pieces that are still a little wavy with my hands gently and thats it. i let it air dry! this works very well for me. once your hair dries, you can also put in a smoothing/shine/frizz control serum onto your hair or argan oil which makes it very soft. maybe so that your hair does not get oily you can shower everyday and when you do make sure you rinse out your conditioner veryyy well. hope this helped!
