There praising a false being, and they are going to die in the ground like everybody else. Can I ask you if your a christian, what are your thoughts on satanists. They want to go to hell, so you can't say burn in hell I guess you could say they want to.

I respect them as much as I respect anyone else who respects my beliefs. It's their choice to believe whatever they want to believe in.

I have a friend who is a satanist (Anton LaVey variety) for the last 15 years or so. He's never bothered me about converting to his religion and he's one of the kindest most generous people I know.

Based on the brief meetings I've had with other satanists and my friendship with him I'd say I generally respect them far more than LDS, JW, Fundamentalist, and Evangelical Christians and exactly the same amount as every other religion that also has a "live and let live" attitude.

I think that satanism is quite ridiculous. It seems to me that some satanists show interesting opinions, but I have no idea how anyone can base his or her opinions on a ridiculous symbol like satan.

Regarding the aforementioned "LaVeyan" satanists, I don't know why those guys don't simply call themselves LaVeyists or something like that.

If you're talking about Anton LaVey Church of Satan satanism, there is almost no difference between the two. Both take themselves as their own God. Follow their impulses in most of their affairs. The only real difference is the acceptance of personal magic with the satanists that the Atheists reject as silly, but practice anyway. I mean the beautifying of women for desired effect, etc.

These are all general comparisons, so there will naturally be exceptions. But they're very similar, as far as what's required of their respective faiths.

Pretty much the same as Christians, except obviously not nearly as numerous or powerful. I feel pretty much the same about all of those kinds of people - the Christians, Muslims, satanists, psychic believers, UFO nuts, and so on. The only difference between them, as far as I'm concerned, is how much they directly affect my life.

If you mean LaVeyan satanists (and all the ones I know are atheists), they're nice. If you mean actual devil worshipers, I do not think I know any.

LaVeyan Satanists don't believe in God nor in the Devil , they are Anti-Christians .

Theistic Satanists , Deluded , the devil doesn't exist

I'm not strictly an atheist but what the hey:

as long as they don't come knocking on my door to get me to join a sunday black mass or buy their damn magazines or start harassing me on the internet saying that i'll go to heaven for my un-dastardly ways then they're just dandy.

The hedonism is a bit much for me. All the Satanists I've met have been extraordinarily nice people, though.

How exactly do you know my outlook on Christianity?

The LaVey don't believe in any gods or satans, and they have a very solid moral base for a bunch of hedonists, so I guess they're ok.

The theistic ones tend to be as delusional as any Christian.

I don't ever see the same amount of bigotry, lies, hatred and intolerance that many christians promote

I am not bothered about religion unless people are being bigoted or trying to make laws that will impact on my life or promote hate-speeches
