Palin does NOT have a mentally ill child. She has five kids. If you like labels, her new baby boy has Down Syndrome (retardation). And if her daughter is as strong as mom, then she will be just fine. She obviously is a kind, loving mom who wants the best for her family and her country.

I, nor anyone else, can make those kinds of decisions for Palin. I agree that Michelle Obama has put her children first, as I would do. To be fair, for all anyone knows, Palin's husband has or will take on the bulk of the parenting.
