I have already checked Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline and more. Additionally I have looked at individual sites, i.e. - Southwest, American Airlines, Delta and USAirways. I can't find anything under $400. I found a flight with a stop for around $300, but I really want to avoid the stop as I don't really like flying. I am wondering if there are some flight promotions or codes someone knows about that could help me, or maybe there is another website or airline I am not thinking about. Thank you so much!

If I e-mail someone and they reply it is linked together in the same line. In the sender line all parties are listed and it is confusing to read. Additionally, I used to be able to list my e-mail by sender but I can't figure out how to do this now. Bottom line is I greatly dislike this format and want to know if anyone knows how I can change it back.

I have read about the Ion pics 2 SD image converter, the PS 9700, and the Wolverine F2D20. I am mostly interested in scanning slides, but I would like to scan some negatives too. Does anyone have a product to recommend to me, and advice on where I can buy it?

Also, I like the stand-alone models. I don't want to have to connect the device to a computer. I would like to save the images to a scan disk card.

My aunt lives out of state but owns a home in the town I live in. Rather than hire a stranger to handle managing the property she would like to hire me, and I agreed. I photographed and advertised the property, responded to inquiries and followed up on references from someone that will be moving in on January 1st. My aunt said to let her know what I charge and I have no idea. I want to charge something reasonable and fair to both of us. I thought a percentage of each month's rent would be good, but what percent? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

My grandmother gave me some vintage Barbie dolls back in the 1970's. They are in good condition but not in the orginal packaging. I would like to have these appraised. Ideally I would like to e-mail pictures to an appraiser to get an initial idea of the dolls are of any value. Thank you.

There are two main spots at the bottom of my dress that are soiled with the urine. I am terribly upset but need to do something about this. My husband found a cleaner that would clean the entire dress for $100, but the entire dress does not need cleaned - just the two areas. The material is satin/lace. Can I try to use water and something like Woolite to get these out myself - or would that make it worse? Any advice? I'm desperate and need to do something before it sets in too much.

The party allows for 10 kids and each additional person is $9.00. I don't mind paying for extra kids - I don't think there will be more than 12 kids anyway, but the parents of some friends have said they are excited about skating, and we have close friends with no kids that have asked if they can go. I feel rude saying that we are only paying for kids to skate but we are not rich. I took a huge paycut this year (lovely economy) and I am paying for this party with money in my savings account. I also don't want to be "cheap" or "rude." Any suggestions?

we've been together for about 15 years. generally very happy, no real problems, but he is acting different. he doesn't really call to say hi anymore. doesn't initiate affection. i have to initiate hugs/kisses/holding hands, etc. he will say "i love you" after I do. Without saying "we need to talk" how can I approach this? Any ideas? I'm really hurt that he is acting this way, although technically he hasn't done anything wrong - if that makes sense.

I interviewed last week on Tuesday for a job that I HOPE to get. I do know that last Friday they called 2 of my references, and they left a message for another of my references on Monday. They told me they hope to fill the position "soon." As I mentioned I have sent a thank you card, but I am not sure what protocol there is now. It's been over a week, and I just want them to know that I am still interested in the job without seeming desperate. Any ideas?

I am just guessing I have a yeast infection (yuck!) and in the past I have treated it with an over the counter medicine. Six months ago I had a hysterectomy and maybe it is no deal, but can I still use the same OTC medicine? Thanks!

I have a job interview this afternoon and I am just looking for some advice/ideas on how I can stand out from the other applicants. I think Obama might be the "rebound" candidate.

A friend recently told me she was voting for Obama because "she was tired of Bush." I have noticed that many people when commenting about Obama have the name "Bush" in their answer and they can't express why they are voting FOR Obama.

After 8 years of President Bush some Americans want the next President to be totally opposite Bush. Bush has not been all bad. He has kept us safe from another terrorist attack after 9/11 - for which I am grateful. However, if Bush were eligible for a third term, and was running again, I would not vote for him. Bush has disappointed me too.

The relationship between Bush (as President) and the American people is coming to an end, and Obama is truly the furthest candidate away from Bush. So, like a rebound fling after a bad relationship ends, many in our country are voting for Obama. But how will they feel the morning after?

McCain is no Bush, even though Obama keeps the comparison alive. At Election time it is OK to feel frustrated with the status quo, but know that Obama's type of change might be more than any of us are willing to bargain for, and like rebound relationships - they don't work.

I hope everyone gets out to vote tomorrow (it's still Monday here on the West coast.) Who are you voting for tomorrow, and why? In your answer, please do NOT name the candidate you are not voting for. For example, if voting for Obama, please don't say, "I don't like McCain." Before the official election, I would really like to see what the last minute thoughts are. No flaming please - mature answers welcome.

A few months ago we discovered that our daughter had a secret hiding place in her closet where she stashed things from around the house she had "stolen." In her collection were: old ring of keys, lightbulb, old glasses, etc., nothing of "real" value, but still things she was hiding. I was looking for the missing keys and was asking her if she had seen them, and she tells me to wait - goes to her room, and emerges with the keys! (Her dad and I later discovered her hiding place of the other items.)

Then earlier this month on a church field trip, she stole some items from the gift shop!! She got the items all the way onto the bus and then told a chaparone she had bought them. The chaparone knew better and told us about this at the end of the field trip. We mailed the items back to the gift shop, and made our daughter write a letter of apology. I forget what her other punishment was now - I think she was grounded for that weekend, but it didn't really work.

Then yesterday at school she took car keys of the desk of one of her teachers! Her after-care teacher noticed the keys and at first she claimed that they were my keys. The teacher knew better and after pressing her, my daughter said she had "found them." In the meantime the teacher from whom my daughter had taken the keys had to get a ride home because she did not have them. This teacher is wonderful and my daughter loves this teacher ~ so I am completely confused! We certainly teach our daughter right from wrong, so why does she keep stealing? What is the best way to get her to understand this is wrong and to stop doing it? Please, help!

If you have still not decided if you will vote for McCain or Obama what would help you make your decision?

I am asking because everyone I know has already decided, but I hear that there are still "undecideds" out there - so just wanted to ask about this myself.

Should the word "make" here be "make" or "makes"?

I have some unique experience that I think make me an excellent candidate for this position.
