The depo shot can stay in your system anywhere from 6 months to a year depending on your body. If you are trying to get pregnant tell your doctor they have other meds that they can prescribe to help you ovulate sooner. Good luck!!

The possibility is that it can happen right away. It also depends on if your menstrual cycle stopped or not. But it is usually said 6months to a year. But every woman is different, some women get pregnant on the shot, some get pregnant right after stopping, and some can not get pregnant after 2 years. So, if you are trying to conceive, good luck.
