should i drink energy drinks?

I'm thinking of drinking energy drinks because after school i have band practice so we do drill and run and i get sleepy after school. so should i drink energy drinks like a monster or stick with sports drinks. also whats the effect of energy drinks? like after a few hours do you start to feel weak? and is sobe an energy drink because i have been drinking that a lot lately.

    Energy drinks are really bad for you and your personal health.What type of Sobe are you drinking?Is it Sobe lifewater?If it is Sobe lifewater is extermally healthy for you.It contains Vitamins A,C,D and helps calm you down by using chamoline (a herb which herbs are good for you!Also,you may try eating lots of fruits and vegetables and occisanaly a desert to give you the extra kick and a little bit of sugar.Try at least,getting 8 good hours of sleep a night.So when you go to school you will be wide awake and be refreshed.Remember,also to eat breakfast to give you more brain power so when you leave to school eat a bananna and drink a glass of milk.Try to eat carrots to because they strengthen the eyes.You can also try Vitamin water too.I personally,would choose life water.By the time you do all that I listed you willl be full of energy and have energy to rock out during band practice.Hopefully,you take these thoughts in mind and hopefully use them to boost your energy!Good Luck,-da princess is herr

    Energy drinks are definitely not going to kill you, but they can do something worse, cause addiction. Energy drinks contain the acid Taurine which makes the product highly addictive. Energy drinks also contain significant amounts of caffeine which will make your body jittery and can cause insomnia for days at a time. Energy drinks contain as much as 80 mg of caffeine per can. Comparedto the 37 mg. of caffeine in a Mountain Dew or the 23 mg. in a Coca-Cola there is clearly a huge difference. Energy drinks are the last thing that you should be drinking and because you do need energy you can drink something such as a gatorade which will replenish you and is not bad when compared to a Monster or Rockstar. Yes a Sobe is considered a type of energy drink so don't drink that either. it sounds like you are young and you definitely do not want to become addicted to anything when you have other alternatives.

    Sobe's a sport drink i think. But don't drink energy drionks. You sumtimes crash later. Feel weak like you said. So yah just keep wid da sport drinks and maybe drink that 5 hour energy drink. IT ACTUALLY HELPS

    I used to go through 5 cans of red bull a day at school, I would say a can between school and band practice will be fine. Plus if you get a sugar free one it will keep you awake and won't make you fat. I really don't think they're as bad for your health as people make out, the sugar free ones have virtually no sugar, calories, fat, salt; just lots of vitamin B12 and B6 which cause your cells to release more energy and speed up your metabolism. Go for it mannn. If you live in the UK you have to be 16 to buy them btw in case you didn't know.

    energy drinks can make you crash after a few hours sometimes before that and yes sobe is an enegry type drink my bf drinks it all the time and just won't chill out sometimes lol i'd stick to like powerade and gatorade

    I would not drink energy drinks because they are high in sugar and caffeine. I would drink lots of water and also consider taking a vitamin of some kind as well as eating more fruits and veggies (maybe take them with you as a snack) I know carrots and grapes are really easy snacks.

    No. They are horrible. They used to be on the top 5 causes of death. So do not drink those. Have a snack like a banana. Those are great energy boosters.

    dont drink energy drinks they are bad for you if you are doin physical work like running then drink powerade/gatorade bc energy drinks can cause a lot of problems and they speed your heart up so. dont start drinking them and sobe does have energy drinks. just be careful

    Drinks like Monster, Red Bull, etc., are guarana, sugar and caffeine filled garbage that you have a hard "crash" from later. Those kill me!

    The only healthy energy drink is FRS , and you don't "crash" from it. Check out the nutritional info on this drink, and see what you think. BTW, the peach mango flavor is good!

    NO!!!!!!!!!!

    Energy drink like monster and red bull are very bad for you.

    There is a lot of caffeine in them.

    It makes your heart race and some people get heart attacks.

    It's better to stay off of energy drinks.

    Try eating a banana.

    For me energy drinks don't even give me energy.

    They may taste good but they are very very bad for you.
