Need Suggestions for Exhaust!?

Got to keep it legal though, so muffler and cats are a yes

I have:

2004 Chevy 1500 5.3L V8, 2.25 inch pipe, True Duals, 18 inch glasspacks, 90 degree turns, out to 2.5 inch tips, stock cats also

Alright I need some help!

I gotta get some new brakes anyway, so I was wondering how I could make my truck louder without a bunch of money spent on it....

I dont think my 18 inch glasspacks are loud, they have sound dont get me wrong, but not loud (especially since my friend got a 6.0L-no mufflers LOUD).

So what are some things I could do? Get longer tips at 45 degrees?,

HOW bout BACKWARDS Glasspacks?

And if you post, could you post an estimated price maybe?

    Loose the glass packs and get some Flowmaster mufflers. These will sound awesome and give you more power than glass packs (they are actually restrictive to flow). Prices are about $75/each (Check Jegs or Summit).
