hi wen, if i am understanding you right you want to do a system restore the best way to do a system restore is hit start>program>accessories>system tools scrol down to system restore and you will see a date choose the second option choose a system restore date there is where you can find where your system was installed choose that date your system will reboot after your restore is finished good luck hope i was helpful to you
