Google Chrome Installation Problems... !!! Help??
OK, wanting to install the new google chrome browser, and i go to http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?hl=en. I click the "Accept & Install" button, and i'm told it is just a 474KB file. I have 10MB/S broadband, and the little download swirl keeps going for ages, and nothing happens no response.
The installation doesn't happen, what could be wrong?
Thanks!!!

Getting same error on my Win XP Pro SP3:
[0903/145654:ERROR:setup.cc(282)] Return status of Chrome browser registration 0
Was able to uninstall partial/failed attempt via Add Remote Programs but only after reboot in Windows Safe Mode. Subsequent installation attempts still fail with same error :(
Seems like we are SOL unless Google fixes the problem or someone finds a workaround!

Sounds like a problem getting thru a firewall.

I have the same problem. Here I have several machines behind the same firewall, and some had successfully installed and others stayed "downloading" forever. It´s not like firewall problem.
