Need help with my special constables application....?
Hello all.
I have applied to the special constables before being accepted twice, but regrettably had to pull out both times due to pregnancy.
The last application I failed to score enough points on my answers.
I'm having problems answering this;
Please provide and example of a time when you worked as part of a team. What role did you take in the team and how did you work together to achieve your end result? if you were in the same situation again how might you change the team worked?
Thank you.
I appreciate any good examples as I' m out of options.
TO aberdeen Tyke.
I have not failed twicw, just the once. Please do not be so rude. If you're not gonna be polite, please do not waste other people's time being nasty.
Thank you to all the people who are answering the question.

Organising family events is a bit like being part of a team and organising something. Was you in the Cadets or scouts/guides?
Any jobs where you had to organise something, did anything not go to plan? How would you do it differently if you had to do it again?

Was there any time in your work life you and your collagues had a busy period or a project with limited time to do it?
Can you write how you contributed to this or worked as a team on this project?
What about school projects or assigments where you worked in teams?
They want you to show that you within a team worked on something and what your contribution was.
Even organising a trip aboard with a bus load of your friends is team work..think outside the box is what i would suggest...not every question has to be work specific when you give evidence.
Mail me if you have more questions, i am also a special assessor/interviewer for new candidates.

i know its a hard application, but good luck
exmaples of teamwork could be in a school council to resolve important issues or at a job when you have worked as a team under time pressure to reach a goal or target.

If you failed the written test TWICE then you must be as thick as a housebrick. They'll literally accept any old rubbish.
