McCain VP alternatives?

Of course there was a wide range of men McCain could have picked with better on paper qualifications then Palin.

However If you were going to pick a conservative woman under 55 was there a more experienced option then Palin? If so who and what is her experience? (Not counting Condi rice who was not interested)

Update:

Don't just randomly comment about Palin read the question and answer. I'm not suggesting he change I'm just curious if there was a better option assuming he was looking for a younger conservative woman.

i don't know her age, but Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson would have been an excellent choice. She 's from Texas a large state and she knows the Senate so she would be able to get McSame agenda through Congress. She has real experience and i believe would have been able to get some of Hillary's supporter to vote for mcSame. even though I'm for Obama, i like her alot.

Interesting, just a week ago hardly anyone knew who Sarah Palin was, but all the suddenly people act as they know the whole history of her life and life of her family, including her qualfications as a public servant.....pretty much based on what the media provides or biased opinions....
