what are the chances that i'll go over my due date?

i'm 39 weeks, and i had an appointment this past tuesday. my dr said i'm 2cm dilated, the baby is at 0 station, my cervix has started to thin but is still "high", she stripped my membranes, i had cramping for two days after, and i lost my mucus plug. i've been having braxton hicks contractions for about two weeks now. my due date is the 11th, and i was just wondering if anybody has ever been this close to going into labor and still went over thier due date? share your stories with me!

I don't think you will exceed your due date, but everyone is different.

Girl, every woman is different when concerning having babies, our bodies work different. When I got pregnant I was counting the weeks from the time of my last period and counted 37 weeks.. I suggest you take it easy, relax that by the time that baby comes you'll be the happiest mom in the world.. Also the exact date almost never happen so just chill out and enjoy your bundle when it comes.. If you are 39 weeks you might have given the wrong date or are past due date, count the weeks from your last period and see how it works.. Good luck and enjoy the moment.

    I am a CCMA

You are NOT full term until you are at 40 weeks and the doctor may actually make you wait until you are 42 weeks... Your due date is a guesstimate not an exact science

    Congrats
