Do you think the protesters at the RNC were staged last night?

I was embarrassed when I saw how weird these protesters appear and thought maybe they were actors to make people like me look foolish and to make folks think twice about being associated as anti-establishment and anti-war.

What do you all think? How can the party of Homeland Security not keep a couple of yahoos out of their convention? I say it was all staged!!

Update:

SmoovB....my side of the aisle? I've never voted for a Democrat in 18 years...I'm a Ron Paul conservative and am sick of the idea that being a "good Republican" requires me to keep my eyes closed to the obscene corruption on the right but nitpicky about corruption on the left. I despise the left, don't get me wrong, but I cannot ignore the atrocities of Republicans just because I am a registered Republican! That would be irresponsible and foolish!

of course it was staged. The security system in these conventions is very tight and you cannot approach the area without a badge. And here we suddenly see some freak popping up from nowhere in the middle of the assembly with some security agent taking their time to escort her to the exit, but not too fast, to give time to the cameras to picture the scene.

And if we suppose this was not staged, well that means that even in their own convention they cannot assure the security of a baseball size arena. So how could we expect them to ensure the security of the whole country?

They got tickets up in the "nosebleed section" and wore black suits and dresses of over their protester clothing. Not too difficult and I'm sure theat it was a plan long in the works. Security wasn't going to catch a second set of clothing and maybe a poster. When you have people that extreme about their position, they'll do what they feel they need to, to get their message out.

No. There are actually people on your side of the aisle who are that loony. Many were arrested in connection with a kidnap plot and had bags of urine and excrement as well as Molotov cocktails. The ACLU is all involved now, to investigate "human rights violations". That should tell you it's real.

It was revolting to see outside the RNC (not sure if it was last night or today) cops approaching that big woman who did nothing and they just sprayed her in the face with whatever that stuff was mace/pepperspray. And several of them did it, over and over.

It was a disgusting thing to witness.

One thing seeing that crap in China but to see that in a place like USA was unbelievable.

I don't know - they were probably legit.

Now, the anarchists that showed up and made it look like the war protesters were a violent mob, and getting innocent people tear-gassed and arrested?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if that was the work of GOP'ers (whether or not they were actually affiliated with McCain).

I don't think it was staged as all. There was no way you could tell anyone apart at that convention.

They were the real deal and my guess is they got in because they are Republicans and voted Republicans in the past. You have to buy tickets to the event.

they weren't staged. They were protesters standing up for what they believe in.
