What about thickening tomato juice with some corn starch when it boils?

You can thicken stock with corn starch what about it with tomato juice?

    yes, you can thicken any liquid with cornstarch. just make sure you make a slurry (cornstarch and COLD water), otherwise the cornstarch clumps. just add a little at a time and bring to a full rolling boil to reach maximum thickening.

    adding a slurry is sometimes better because you don't have to worry about other fats or starches (such as butter, oil, flour, etc.) interupting the flavor or texture of whatever you are thickening.

    sOME PEOPLE FIND THAT TOMATO SAUCES HAVE TO MUCH ACID IN IT.. SO THEY THICKEN TOMATO JUICE,HEINTZ KEPTCHUP AND ALSO TOMATO SOUP FOR SPG. BASE..
