Ron Paul supporters, what is your opinion of Libertarian Bob Barr?

He may be the best I can vote for in California, if Ron Paul won't file the one page form to have write in votes counted here. What he says today is on message, but his record isn't near as pristine as Ron Paul's. Ron Paul encouraged him to run, however, and considers him an ally.

Ron Paul is having a press announcement next week and Chuck Baldwin's office says they are having a press announcement with Ron Paul on Monday. No clue if the two are related, but unless Ron relents and runs himself (which I don't see as likely) I'm anticipating an endorsement or the next closest thing next week, for someone. I'm just guessing, though.

Chuck Baldwin as I understand it won't be on the ballot in CA though, because of a party snafu putting in Keyes, who is nothing like Ron Paul on the issues I care about.

Bob Barr is the best candidate. Unfortuately, a 3rd party can't win and letting Obama win will spell economic disaster for us all so... It's McCain08 for now... /sigh
