Yes, but people don't usually talk about it in public. It's always a private thing between you and whoever you are comparing with. Don't tell other guys about it openly or they'll act like you are gay (even though they probably do it too).

Yes, it's absolutely normal. You're learning how your body is changing, it's natural to be curious how other guys are changing too. Just keep in mind when you do this that boys develop at all different rates, and whether you show some change before or after your friends do means nothing - it's just a difference between your schedules. It doesn't mean one of you is better or worse. Go ahead and compare. You might see what's in store for you, your friend might see what's in store for him, or one of you might see something unique in the other that he won't have. There's lots of variation, and it's mostly all normal.
