PoLL!!Money Cant Buy You Happiness...True Or False..?

only poor people say that money can't buy happiness. that's because they don't have any. for example - try this... ask a person who has no money for food and is hungry just how happy he or she is. try taking someone's last dollar away and see how happy that makes him. ask a street person rooting around in garbage cans for food how much they enjoy doing that. steal a penny from a rich person who won't miss it and see how steamed they get. money is the root of all evil. money is the root of all happiness. and, just for laughs, send me all of your money. all of it, every dime. then you won't have electricity for your computer. no more asking yahoo! answers for advice or perspective. no more cell phone. no car. no new clothes. no parties. no eating out in restaurants. no home. no credit cards. go ahead! send me all of your money! i can tell you right now- i'll certainly be a lot happier! how happy do you think you'll be? .

Of course money can buy you happiness, but I think the root of that statement is about what we can find inside us in times of hardship. I think people with money aren't always happy anyway, as they always want the next big thing and aren't happy until they get it. Those who have fallen from money are likely to appreciate it more. Those who have never had money are probably happier in themselves.

if its about the material things and the entertainment stuff ur talking then money matters...

if ur talking about true happiness then surely money cant buy happiness.... sometimes ur happy just because ur feel good, the happiness when ur family, friends.... when ur with ur dog(i guess u have one) and doing the thing which u really like (which doesnot involve money) can give u a lot of happiness then anything

True. But it certainly does help out a lot to have some.

Just because a person has a lot of money doesn't mean that they are happy, or content. But having a decent amount certainly contributes to a pleasant disposition over-all.

I think it's true to some extent. If you start off poor and happy..money seems like it would only make things better, because you can appreciate it more. If you have money to begin with things are probably taken more for granted.

No,it won't buy u happiness ,struggled early in the game ,but through perseverance and dedication,thing have together.,only hill i have left to climb is gettin 2 kidz thru college.....lots a luk in ur endevors .
