How do I get my hairdresser to give me what I really want?

Go to a new hairstylist. Be VERY specific. If you see her doing something you don't want tell her to, stop and try to re-explain it.

Explain. Handing a picture of a celebrity does not tell us what you want. Your hair is a different texture, different length, different color. You as a client need to understand you will never look like the picture. If you hand us a picture, we do what was done in the picture. If you want it shoulder length with layers, tell us that's what you want. Just understand that in pictures, you hair is completely different and will not look like that. Its not that we don't know what we're doing, its that you're expecting something that we cannot give you.

Find a better hairdresser. Lol.
