Why can't you smell when you sing?

I know that question is a bit random, but I tried it and thought about it and it kinda confused me. Why can't you smell when you sing anything? please don't think I'm weird ^_^

I think it is because you're breathing with your mouth and your nose when you sing.. I don't know thats what I always thought..

because your nose and mouth are connected, therefore you can only use 1 of them at a time... example: you can't breathe in through your nose and mouth at the same time (its almost impossible).

    p.s. your not weird don't wrry ;)

Well if you sing properly you don't breathe through your nose when you sing!
