Ladies : Why do women almost always wear shoes that hurt their feet?

i dont see why we do it either but all the blisters and bruises are what we get for the price of beauty

I've never done that! I've been barefoot for over ten years because I like it and I don't care about fashion, but even when I still wore shoes (I was almost 29 when I started to go barefoot) I never wore uncomfortable shoes, except for one Halloween party. I have worn lots of uncomfortable things for costuming (glue-on ears and noses, Klingon headpieces, masks, alien antennae) but I do NOT wear ANYTHING that isn't comfortable for everyday wear, never did even in my teenage/twenties when I still tried to impress the guys. I would wear sort of fashionable boots or flats but never the narrow, pointy-toed ones or anything with a high heel.

Well, not ALL pointy toed, high heeled shoes are uncomfortable you know, It's all a matter of picking the right pair of shoes. Some of us like to wear fashionable, painful shoes because we feel glamorous in these shoes, and we get tons of compliments on them.

Put it this way. All girls want to look good and feel good about ourselves, sexy heels is only ONE of those ways. There are heels that aren't uncomfortable, one has to be willing to pay the price $$$ and realize the higher heel isn't always better. Part of this is pure common sense.

Trust me, the older you get the more those high heels hurt and make you feel off kilter. Younger folks can tolerate them better. High heels or stilletos are worn because of the sex appeal, not because they are comfortable.

well i do sometimes but not always :-)

....usually heels hurt and i wear them cause i like how they look, and also they create the illusion that we have longer legs.

Because high heels make their butt and legs look better.

They are sacrificing comfort for sex appeal.
