I believe all bachelors degrees need at least 3-6 credit hours of college level math in order to graduate. Some degrees however are more math orientated such as business, since you will have to take the standard college level math, accounting, business statistics and then math for business majors such as polynomial calculus or finite mathematics.
However a degree in theater may only require the standard math courses and nothing more.
Math was never my greatest subject and to be honest I could never understand why you had to take anything beyond the fundamentals unless you wanted to major in math, accounting, finance or economics and too be quite honest, I still don't know why. I have graduated with four bachelor's degrees, one in business management and have graduated with a JD/MBA and have never once used the advanced math which is taught, but just stick with it, the tediousness of it all will be worth it and it is better than a bachelors in theater.
