Do you have a friend who is a fan of a rival team? Do you get along peacefully?
Milwaukee being right next store to Chicago causes friction. My friend is a Cubs fan, we've come to terms now. We've had some great debates, but we keep it civil.

I'm a Cubs fan & I live in Central Indiana. There are alot of Reds & Cards fans, we grew up giving each other crap.... mostly me getting all the crap...... I work in a factory, we took on alot of people from St Louis & Kenosha in the late late 90's so more Cards fans & a few Brewer fans in the mix. so alot of the same (trash talk / ribbing) goes on in there. boy did the Reds fans come back out of the wood work ths last week!
I have alot of contacts that are Brewers, Reds, Astros & Cards fans... some of them get alittle carried away hating on my Cubs but i'm just having fun. people act like they have something to say.... that i've never heard.
who is going to get out of this funk 1st your Brewers or my Cubbies?

I gotta say that I do actually like getting into some sort of controversy when it comes to baseball arguments. I'm a huge White Sox fan and I've got a friend that I've known since sixth grade that's just as big of a Cubs fan. We actually get along really well. You'd be surprised at how many people are baseball fans at my school...it's not many. And all of those fans are just cubs bandwagon friends that don't know a single thing about them. (Seriously. I know more about the cubs than all the "cubs" fans I know combined) He's the only one that I can ever talk baseball with and he's not really informed about the sox so it's mostly cubs talk and fantasy baseball :/
He claims to have matured from baseball rivalry arguments...(except the cardinals i guess)
Are you freakin kidding me? It gets kid of boring because I can't even gloat if the sox win because he'll accept that the sox kicked the cubs butt....sure it's okay, but come on...it takes away the fun.
The White Sox are gonna take it home this year. Who wants to argue? Contact me. :)
Kidding.

I live in Chicago and naturally there is going to be disagreements every day, some of my friends are Sox fans, and some are Cubs fans. Me, Im an Indians fan since I was born in Cleveland. So I get along better with the Cubs fan friends than I do with the Sox fan friends when it comes to baseball. We get along fine though normally. When my Cubs fans friends are talking smack about the Sox, I usually join in and help with the hate though.
But most people here will tell you that there is a certain thing about White Sox fans, most of them are as stubborn as you can be, and can never be wrong about anything. Theres no use getting into it with a Sox fan, since theyre right about everything. Its either their way or the highway for everything. Generally, Cubs fans are more easy going and fun, while Sox fans dont want to hear anything about baseball unless its about the Sox. And if they dont agree with you, you'll get chewed out and never hear the end of it.
The guy above me proves my point exactly. Sox fans think they know everything.

My one friend away from the pc, we like the same team.
As for my online friends, I only know a couple of them what their team is.
I would hope I can always be peaceful with them, it would be too much of a shame not to.
I live in an area that some people root for the Cardinals, and some people the Cubs. I am more Cubs because I spent most my life in the Windy City area, and am for White Sox on top of that.

i'm a Mets fan to boot, I stay in Virginia. My maximum suitable buddy is a Nationals fan, we in many cases textual content cloth one yet another on an identical time as the sport is going on or watch it at the same time. of direction we %. on one yet another approximately issues, it truly is relaxing however by no potential gets out of hand. I even have somewhat some friends that are Yankees followers. while it gets exciting is that i'm a Cowboys fan, and my maximum suitable buddy is a Redskins fan, as is maximum all of us around right here. So yeah I even have somewhat some team opposition happening with my friends.

It is so funny. Almost all the Cub fans here have me blocked. I'm from Illinois and grew up with the Cubs forced down my throat, so I'm no fan. But I'm from Illinois. Almost everyone here is a Cubs fan. And, yes, a lot of my friends are die-hard Cub fans and we get along swimmingly. Gotta remember -- it's baseball. No matter who wins or loses, it's a baseball season. EVERYONE ought to be happy!

I have a contact that is a Brewers fan and I am a Reds fan. We root for each other teams except when we play each other, which is happening now. It all works out great. I also have contacts that are fans of other teams including the reds. We love baseball too much to let that come between us.

Yes. Some of my friends (contacts) on y!a are fans of a rival teams, we most all get along, but sometimes fans of the rival team say some rude stuff, but I try to ignore it. I also have some friends who are Giants fans (Bay Area Rivalry), we always like to bet on who will win, but we all get a long peacefully. Great Question. here's a star. =]

My dad was a dyed in the wool Yankee fan, and I committed heresy in his eyes by joining Red Sox nation at a young age. He never forgave me, but we never felt any less love for each other.
I can set affiliations aside. I don't care who my friends root for, so long as we respect each other. A guy like Scooter and I would get along real well. We are on opposite sides of the fence, but we both respect the other team and the game itself.
Source(s): When I posted this, I didn't realize that Scooter was right above me; it's almost embarrassing. - nas88car300Lv 71 decade ago
