Is going to hell really that bad?
Majority of people are there for sure. I always wanted to meet John Lennon. Maybe he has written some new songs since he was shot by Mark Chapman?
I mean if you go to hell, you're not alone on this. Is that really bad?

On earth we get a taste of heaven and a taste of hell. The beauty, majesty, love, light, life, friendships/lovers and blessing we taste are what heaven will be like all the time. The ugliness, fear, disease, hatred, suffering, darkness, loneliness and curses that we taste here on earth are what hell is like all the time.
Which do you prefer?

If there was going to be some sort of "hell" it would be so awesome...think about it!! NO CHRISTIAN AMERICAN'S!!
Heaven will be overrun with goody twoshoes, boring Christians and we will all be rocking out in hell!! As if the devil would punish us for not believing in his old mate god...he will be hifiving us and we will be treated like VIP's.......I do hope there is that rather warm section for all the murderers and pedeophiles that seem to think that they will still make it into "heaven" just because they are sorry for what they did....shoulda thought about that before they killed and hurt innocent people!!!
ps they bad Christians in hell will all have hangovers forever!!!
can you imagine how flippin bad an eternal hangover would be?
Source(s): Aussie atheist......obviously I dont believe in Hell, just wanted to write a little fiction story!! Oh and not all Christian Americans are looser's...I have some wonderful friends...just not inot the fundie's...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE - Anonymous1 decade ago
Absolutely not. Would you rather spend eternity in heaven with the likes of Jerry Falwell and Pope Pius XII or in hell with the likes of Socrates, Richard Dawkins, Johannes Brahms, and George Bernard Shaw?

You are alone! At least amongst demons who will be tormenting and torturing you for eternity. Hell is described as a place of complete pain, absolute hopelessness knowing you'll never leave that place, the will to want to die but will never be quenched. Just know its not a place for anyone and it was originally made for Satan and his fallen angels, but doesnt mean humans can't go there.

That's where your mistaken, you see no one else in hell. You can't go trekking about down there, unlike heaven.
If you don't think it's that bad, get 3rd degree burns to 100% of your body, come back, and tell everyone what it's like so we can have a better idea of hell.

If there is a hell, a little devil torturing me would say "After this session you'll get to meet John Lennon"
"Oh cool, when's the session over?"
"It'll be a while, count to infinity."

In hell, you pay for every single bad thing you've done. In heaven, you get the grace of God. In hell, you get to live for eternity without purpose. In heaven, you get to fulfill your purpose. In hell, you get to be surrounded with other people with an "every man for himself" mentality. In heaven, you don't need to watch your back.
Your choice. Personally, I don't think John Lennon is nearly as interesting as the Creator of the universe.

For you to act so casual about this subject shows a lack of wisdom and experience...
Live your life long enough...
God will be sure to open some doors to grant your fondest dreams...
If your are brave enough to face them...

I'm going to the 5th level of hell
That means I get to fight with naked people for all of eternity. I believe the term used was "bite"
Doesn't sound so bad ;]

Hell is like a quite place with red rocks and red canyons and quite old ornate houses where you get to be stoned forever and replay all your favorite retro things over and over again, and you are forever free of religion and annoying humans that arent cool at all.
I think.
