Can White Roofs Affect GW?

Even if it doesn't have any global effect, it's worth considering just for the savings on air conditioning, which would also help reduce the amount of coal used to produce the electricity. One way or the other, I think it would make a difference.

As a So Cal resident, I can attest to the fact that if you have a white roof, it certainly won't stay white very long. Nothing stays clean for more than a few days here. It would be brown in a month and look like shingles in a year.

Let's paint all the roofs black, and watch the earth turn into a gigantic cinder. Please, you have no sense of scope.
