Do you think the Hollywood Left is scared that Sarah Palin could be a heartbeat away from the Presidency?
I think McCain/Palin may actually have a chance. The lefties are running scared. Watch this video with Matt Damon comparing Palin to a Disney movie. He had nothing to say about Obama's lack of experience.

Michele Bachman is an active politician with a vote in the House, and her direction is more easily assumed. Sarah Palin's political stance is "iffy" in the eyes of many inside and outside the Tea Party, with an opinion but no current vote on anything.

Well, I personally am scared of the possibility that she could be our president. Her appeal seems to be the same as that of George W. Bush -- she's folksy, "fun", extremely right-wing, and appears unable and/or unwilling to understand that a lot of political issues are nuanced and complicated and require people to listen to people's concerns that may be different than her own. George Bush, too, believed that he could pretty much go with his "gut" on stuff and snuff out contrary opinions and advice, and I think this country and the world at large has suffered greatly as a result. I have some respect for John McCain and his record of working with people of different political stripes and interests, but everythign I have heard about her suggests not a responsible maverick but a reckless one.
Of course, this is worse because I happen to believe in the separation of church and state, in compromise, in the importance of protecting the environment, etc, all of which are not really part of her worldview.

Matt Damon will probably end up playing the husband to the beautiful soccer mom in the movie. Call it, "The Maverick".

Screw all that "heartbeat away" crap.
Why even bother listening to their drivel????
What they HATE is the idea of a (shudder) Republican being president.
The only thing acceptable to the left is a leftie in Power.
They'll do anything and say anything - no matter how stupid - to get anybody with a (D) behind his name into power.
Any more questions????

Who cares what they think. Let them throw all their money away on lost causes. Just because he is black they think he will be a Morgan Freeman type of president. (from one of his movies) And to think all black people are the same that is racist. They did not care who the guy was or what his politics are. Black/good White/bad. Stupid!

You better believe it. It would be tremendously depressing for them to understand just how little their opinion is valued by most discriminating people. These are true elitists, and it is extremely tough to relate to them or to their facile manner of giving so freely of their unwanted and useless opinion.
