In what countries will the traditional moment of silence be canceled out of fear of insulting people?
Of course I'm referring to how a moment of silence in effigy of 9/11 was canceled because the Belgian government was afraid of insulting...certain members of the constituent.

fdm215, true, less than before, but lets remember that the World Trade Center was full of representatives from non-US nations.
Darwin, true no nation has to hold a memorial for what happened, but since a great deal of nations had representatives in those buildings it was a true international disaster, it was not just against the United States but the Western World in general.

What is your authority? Why should any other country have a "moment of silence" for what was an American tragedy?

Who cares what other countries do Let them do what they want and say what they want and pay the price for it

I do not plan on being silent. Being silent is just one way we insult those that lost their lives because of incompetency. I will not reward "Incompetency"
