3-5 days late??? Too nervous!!!?
I already know that your answers are going to be to take a test, but I'm SO nervous. In July I had a chemical pregnancy, and took 50 tests, 1/2 + 1/2 -. Turns out I wasn't really pregnant at all. Got my period in August, right on time, and I was expecting it again this week, even though we were sort of trying at the end of the month. When I thought I was pregnant in July I had every symptom possible...sore breasts, nausea, etc, and this time I feel NOTHING. I"m so scared to get more false positives...how long would you wait to test??? Thanks!

A chemical pgcy is still a pgcy. Your body prepares for the baby that it thinks you are going to carry. Thats why some of the tests were +.
Each pgcy is different. You may have symptoms 1 pgcy and not have any at all the next. Each woman is different and each pgcy is different as well. So you can't judge this by the symptoms you have or don't have.
Chemical pgcy's usually end near the time of when your period was actually do. So, if your period is past due already, then the only thing you can do is test. With a chemical pgcy, your hcg hormone levels are usually low so its probably best you go in for a blood test. If the hcg levels at least double, every 48 hours, then the pgcy should be a good one.
I wish you the best of luck!
EDIT: Ok, these people telling you to get a sonogram this early are just plain silly. Obviously, they've never experienced a chemical pgcy. I have, so I am speaking from experience. If you went in for the sonogram this early, the only thing they would see, IF anything, would be the sac and placenta. Well, with chemical pgcys, thats what you see anyways... the only thing missing is the baby. So getting a sonogram is worthless at this point. It would be best to wait 6-8 weeks to get one. Only then would you see the heartbeat if there was a baby in there.

Actually, maga gave you a great advice: ultrasound in 4th or 5th week will definitely show a gestational sac.
Explain to your obgyn that you're afraid of another chemical pregnancy and he'll give you an ultrasound.
Good luck! :)
Edit: yes they would see an EMPTY gestational sac which would indicate a chemical pregnancy- in normal pregnancy there's no heart beat at week 4 but you can see a cell formation that corresponds to gestational age.
I thought it implies , but just for LuckiGins I can emphasize that.

you can test 12 days after the day you ovulated, and if you have more doubts a blood test from a doctor couold be good, you can ask a doctor online for free for advice and find others going through similar situation, try fertilityties.com
good luck!

If you keep getting false positives, just go to the doctor, have him do an ultrasound. 3-5 days late is enough to be able to find something with the ultrasound if there is anything to be found. Good luck!
