Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus [...] Pontius Pilate was a governo?

I love the comparasions of Barack Obama to Jesus.

But it begs the question: if a community organizer is someone who gets together a group of people to make a political change, does that mean that Hitler was a community organizer? Or how about any number of dictators that got into power by getting together a gang of thugs and enacting a political coup?

Or is it only a community organizer when the outcome is positive?

I mean, if we're making historical references to community organizers, why is it just the postive ones that we talk about?

Well, Cap'n Kirk - Cohen says that his minister prayed about it - I don't think that minister is used in the Jewish beliefs . . .

UGH! The ad that McCain did "The Road to Denver" was poking fun at the whole Obama worship thing comparing him to Moses, but this reference in the House has crossed a line of separation of Church/State that the democrats all scream foul about when a republican tries to mention God.

haha, well, in my opinion it kind of speaks for probably 50% of Obama supporters, including some in the main stream media.. I have thought this since Obama first came on the scene.. people seem to think that he is some sort of messiah who has descended from the clouds to fix our countries problems, lol, except as every day goes by, he just continues to show that he is just another Democrat with the same ideas as all the others before him.. bigger government, more taxes, and continued movement towards socialism.. this was the democrats election to lose because of Bush's low approval rating.. and they are slowly losing it, day by day.. cant help but sit back, watch, and laugh..

Exactly, it doesn't make any sense to say that Palin, I guess he is admitting that the republican candidate is the one in control and more experienced, is going to kick butt on the community organizer candidate from the left.

I don't understand how that helps their cause...unless they want to play the victim card.

So now you are comparing Obama to Jesus? Wasnt it bad enough that you all compare him to the likes of Martin Luther King and John Kennedy, now you have to go even further to describe him as Jesus?

I am from TN and am totally ashamed of this "man." But he is from Memphis and their political atmosphere is a thing nightmares are made of. They are problematic in state government down there and apparently in the national arena as well. Apparently he wasn't getting enough attention for himself and decided to say something outrageous. My children did that when they were very, very young and didn't know better as well.

You know Capt James T. Kirk is Jewish in real life -meaning that he would not be so likely to read the new Bible testament. Enough said .

I think it does not help Obama that his supposed supporters are so outspokenly dumb and constantly providing the Republicans with new incendiary material to use in their sound bites! Lately, to me the Democratic Party seems like they are bent on their own self-destruction. Is there anybody out there still that has the political savvy to realize that the totally negative sexist attacks are absolutely blowing right up in their faces, or not!? My guess is not!

Well, if I guess you extend the metaphor you can say that Obama will end up being crucified by his own party.

Its just a metaphor = meaningless garbage.
