Some of it may not have been wasted but I find it hard to understand why Adler Planetarium needed so much money when the get about $725,000 from their annual ball, they have a store, and they get corporate matching gifts. He got $3M for them. If you look at the list I think that it there are others that could have been considered waste. The problem is that too many of our elected officials spent money without even thinking about what we want. We elected them they should be looking out for our best interest and not their own.
