Did anyone notice how differently Obama and McCain put a flower on the 911 site today ?

I am not trying to be a politician so please don't be offended..Maybe i am just old fashion, i don't know..........

Update:

kclifer: As a young man my father and mother taught me to have respect for the dead. When going to pay our respects to the dead we were instructed to be reverent and careful of our behaviour. We were not to walk on a grave but rather stand at the foot of it. We would never have thrown the flowers we carried upon it but rather placed them gently and lovingly as if we were placing them into the hands of our departed one. I am sorry if you think this kind of thinking is dumb and judgmental. I guess my children will be considered dumb to you as well..........

Update 2:

(((HUSKERC94))) Thank You ! I can't imagine bringing home some flowers for my wife Paula and tossing them to her as i walked in the door.

Update 3:

Annoyed, i am not sure of any link but its being shown quit a bit on the news.

Don, great question. I never heard of placing the flowers gently, but to me common sense would tell you to do that. I am always careful not to walk on people's graves. To me it is very disrespectful. There are some of us out here that were raised correct. Sometimes these are the same people that say not to respect their elders. I STILL say Yes Ma'am to my grandmother. I would get smacked if I didn't, lol.

I just went and watched a clip, yeah they were VERY different in how they paid their respects. I know some see this as something so little, but it truly does show something doesn't it?

Here is the link to the whole video of them walking down to ground zero:

I didn't see it. Is there a link to video?

McCain placed it...Obama gave it a toss.

    It means nothing.

Why are we always reading into things that mean nothing.

Lets find something better to do instead of looking for dumb reasons to judge people.

Obama doesn't care, his friends did this anyway..McCain cares and placed it that way so everyone could see that he cares

Yes, because one (McCain) understands and knows firsthand the sacrifices that have been made to keep us free.

The other (Obama) has no clue.
