Help with my HeartBeat? ?
Im having strange thoughts now after reading up some stuff.
When i lie on the floor and fall asleep sometimes, i usually wake up (you know, that transition between waking and being asleep) with a weird sensation in my chest. It goes like a strong beat, and then a long pause, followed by a strong beat, and so on. I literally feel the blood pulsing through. Is that bad?
2)Im quite fit though, like i play sports and exercise alot. Im not overweight either.

Listen to the answer above mine, you must go to your Dr. for him/her to diagnose you but I bet you are having ventricular bigeminy. (also called PVC's)sometimes cardiac arrhythmia's occur for no known reason but its up to your family Dr. to diagnose and treat if necessary.PVC's are early beats arising from an ectopic focus in the ventricles of your heart. I've had lots of them before and you describe them perfectly. Your Dr should do ecg.,bloodwork, holter monitoring and an echocardiogram, take care Donna

you need to go to the doctor, get an ECG done and may be one longer recording of ECG to see is there actually some rhythm problem. Treatment comes after proper diagnosis.

You may have umm... well i forgot what it was called. But my dad has it and it also runs in his family. ask your parents and grandparents and other family members about it. Ask your docter about what is called beta blockers to help regulate your heard.
