Does anyone else have a weird feeling about Obama?

Yes, I am a Republican, but that has nothing to do with it. I wouldn't care as much if it was just any old democrat. But something about Obama just doesn't seem right. Maybe it's the way he talks so camly and smoothly, acting nonchalant. Or maybe it's the fact that he is an undercover Muslim who is denying it to the press? Maybe even the extreme lack of experience mixed which such advanced goals. He gives me an eerie feeling. I think our country is headed for some bad times..

I completely agree. If Hillary was running or some other Dem I would not care to much if dems won. But this guys policies are so based in the communist manifesto. His ideas go against the Constitution so much that we are about to elect somebody that could drastically diminish what 200 years of hard work has accomplished. There are to many young people out there voting for this guy without exploring his past and what his policies mean to them when they get into the real world. His change means greater division in politics and less jobs for the people. simple economics: If you tax the the top 5% of income earners, who are the job creators, they will cut back on employees and raise prices on goods. we end up paying more in the end. He can say anything he wants, but his policies are proven to be failed and he has no real understanding of how to implement them. I could keep going all night with this. I just want to say, please wake up young people, your being blinded by hope and change. Government needs to clean house and McCain and Palin have the history to prove they can do it. This is real change. By the way universal health care will not work, it is already a failed system around the world. Imagine the Dmv running doctors offices. That is exactly what it would be. We need less taxes so we can afford health care. Our system is sound and based on capitalism. Obama wants communism. Obama will not bring people together, he will divide us even more. I have never been someone to look at race, but now I am getting angry that blacks are voting for Obama just because he is black. I feel very offended by that. If they knew that his policies require them to be on welfare for his policies to work, would they really vote for him. I am starting to believe so. For the first time in my life I feel division in the way I look at race. Good job Obama, Hope and Change we can believe in.

I have an uneasy feeling too, and it is not because of the race, not because of any religion concerns, but because the way Mr. Obama talks about his abilities to achieve everything, almost like a magician telling you he will do the impossible. He had no experience in running business or running a high executive office, and I am afraid that he will make it much worse for all of us, and then it will take generations to undo. He has very ambitious goals that likely will not happen in this century.

My concerns are not totally without a base - in the past I worked for several companies where new executives that came on board spoke in the same fashion, nearly presenting themselves as supermen, and then after a while they were either fired or resigned, and the company had a problem undoing the damage they inflicted by their inexperience and not caring. I do not want this to happen to America. Plus he is not proud of America, does not like our flag, his wife presents America like some third world country while they are both earning much more than most Americans.

I totally agree with you, and I have always been a Democrat, until this election. The first time I saw him speak, I had an instant distrust of him. Usually my first impressions are right. I had the same feeling about President Bush 8 years ago.

I have never seen either man show an ounce of human emotion. How could someone who really loves this country, go through the things that have happened to it in the last 8 years, without ever shedding a tear, or even acting human, for that matter.

There is a lot in the Bible in Revelations that parallel things going on in the world today. I can only pray that my grandchildren get to live their lives.

Not really... I do feel relieved that we don't have to worry about Palin ever getting that much power. And I feel hopeful that we can start recovering from the Bush years. Unfortunately it will take a long time to get back to where we were. Its not going to be an easy ride, but at least the journey has begun.

  • have to tell you a BIG BIG secret ...

People outside the USA .. .always get a weird feeling about the people who are running for your presidency.. no matter who they are.. .no matter what they stand for .. and you know why ?

well so MUCH of what the person who IS your president does .. AFFECTS the rest of us massively ... and you know what .. it AIN'T always for the positive....

let's take GWB for example .. .his family had a personal vendetta with Saddam ... and he took was a national .. .OOPS NO ,, ( given that at least 250 other nations lost people) International Tragedy ... and took advantage of the situation and used it to GET back at saddam .. .HOW many of your country men and women have died as a result ? How many non-americans have died ?

he should have gone after Bin Laden ( that's OSUMA by the way )

and the rest of us have lost people.. the rest of us have been affected by high fuel prices .. and well THAT's why we in the REST of the world get WEIRD feelings re your Candidates .... we never know where they will take us.

Indeed, we will be headed for some bad times if he wins the presidency. I think he expects to win, that he is entitled to win, and he has the MSM as an extension to his campaign. Just look at the brutish way Gibson interviewed Palin. Tried his hardest to trip her up. And all the sexist questions that would never be asked of a man. Compare that with the way he interviewed Obama-Like it was an infomercial. I use to like Charlie, but I see hes just another one of the obama mob.

I couldn't agree more. Something about him gives me the creeps and I don't know what to expect when he becomes president; certainly not what he promises since it's pretty much impossible and too good to be true. I wish people would bring their head out of the clouds and realize that he's not all he's cracked up to be. A celebrity who talks pretty. McCain says it like it really is. But people, namely liberals, don't like the truth and those who talk real and to the point, especially when that talk is coming from an experienced veteran American hero w/ hoospa.

    McCain/Palin '08

Source(s): Funny how alot of liberals can't answer the question. They simply answer "nope" or start ranting about something else. I love questions like this, they really prove our point! So true to the answer about a con man getting in good w/ people during hard times and the trojan horse analogy! Wow. Makes ya think!

All I know is I cannot trust this man. He is not who he says he is and I can't understand how he has so many supporting him. They must just hate President Bush so much they are blinded by their hatred. They are also afraid of war and don't understand that Obama will not stop war.

He's always given off very strange vibes. Let me make one thing perfectly clear: I DO NOT USUALLY pray. I am not a religious person. But I have actually been praying that McCain wins this election.

I know that many people will call me a religious whacko for that, and thumbs down this answer...because that's what the liberals do. But, again, I am not religious. I haven't been for over 20 years.

I feel, in my gut, that McCain WILL win this election. However, as you said, this country is headed for trouble of some sort.
