Why does my tongue hurt so much?

For about 3 days my tongue has been really sore. It feels like I burnt it really bad and then ate about 100 sour candies... There are kinda big bumps on the back of my tongue and the taste buds in the front of my mouth are bright red and standing up weird.

Update:

My mom won't take me to the doctor, she believes there's nothing wrong.
