Do you like red or white, sweet, dry etc.?

For reds try Gato Negro, it is from Australia, great Merlot-Cab. About $5-6 a bottle.

For whites if you like sweet Chateu Ste. Michelle is a great Riesling or gewürztraminer, about $6-7 a bottle.

For a bigger red try Columbia Crest Syrah about $7-8 a bottle.

A for a more dry buttery chardonney try Buena Vista’s 2004 Sonoma Chardonnay about $10 a bottle but well worth it.

    Hope this helps, happy tasting!

What do you define as a "value" wine? Tabor Hill Demi Sec or Demi Red run around 7 or 8 dollars a bottle and are some of the best wines I have ever had.

Riuniti...most grocers carry it. It is very good wine for the price. I like the rasberry or the lambrusco myself.
