How much time is necessary?

Why do Dems use the excuse that a measly two years as a Democratically-controlled Congress is not enough time to clean up Bush's 6 years of financial mismanagement, while they insist that Bush's 9 months in office was more than enough time to clean up Clinton's 8 years of security mismanagement of terrorist attacks that led to 9/11?

Clinton "surplus" came from the computer/internet boom in the 90's, and the fact that he greatly reduced military spending by closing bases, etc. Then Bush takes office & has to spend billions to rebuild the military.

The Dem's want to get control so they can put us in another weak position. Maybe then they could have an attack to fight against to get the glory. Unfortunately, they may not get the same response that bush was able to get.

The Democrats won in 2006 on a single mandate - to end the war in Iraq.

After they got elected, they had all kinds of excuses WHY they couldn't deliver on their single campaign promise - but to the voters, it was just another sad reminder.

Politicians will say or do anything to get elected.

For starters Bush Ignored warnings by the CIA and Clinton himself on the terrorist threat during that first 9 months, all while he was planning to invade Iraq. So before you go blaming Clinton why don't you seek the facts.
