i am really struggling with the preterite vs imperfect.

How would you say she became a nurse in spanish?

is that preterite?

    "She became a nurse":

    1. "Ella se hizo enfermera"

    2. "Ella se convirtió en enfermera"

    3. "Ella se graduó de enfermera" (Assuming she studied and graduated).

    There are many ways of saying that in spanish, though the form that best adapts would be

    ELLA SE PREPARO COMO ENFERMERA.
