Whats your defination?

Yes I do remember this song of R.E.M.. If I was to try to define such, it would be that everyone has their time in life pain and suffering in some form or another. I think that it's a reflection of the mood or mindset of the life of a person. Sorry, I'd have a feeling that my answer to this would be full of something. Would I be wrong in how such a song tends to reflect on the moods of the all in a whole.

Wow, I must admit, I went there assuming I wouldn't like it much. As I tend to favor, more of the fifties and sixties songs. As they tend to be more story driven.

So, I'm happy I went with an open mind, I loved the song, very sad, but fitted right into my song favorite styles. Great band too R.E.M

It has great lyrics that ring true for those times in our lives where we are holding onto the slimmest of strings as we try to climb out of the deep wells we fall. It is that feeling you get one someone says "I don't love you anymore" or the experience we have with death of a loved one. I also like the original version by Nazareth as well as a cover by Joan Jett.
