Will Barack Obama be the beginning of the "End of Days" prophecy?

Does anyone recall those verses in the King james Bible about a man from the east taking power and the "End of Days" will begin. I don't believe any of it , but in reality this issue could seriously derail his presidential campaign. Well, maybe. What do you think?

No. What weapons form against you shall not prosperous. It's God will not man. It has already be written. If you really believe in God, he says to love thy neighbor too. I think the Right like to pick and choose certain things from the Bible. Barack is just a man. A human being. The blame falls on President bush and his administration. The republicans. People said Bush was the Antichrist too. (=

If elected, I don't' think Obama will be the end of days.. but he will certainly bring about many days of some very bad things happening to our country.. some of which we may never get back. His socialistic views once put in place especially concerning other socialistic and communist countries.. could get us in a real mess.

It is bad enough that Bush now has us in debt to the Arabs and the Chinese so badly that I am not sure what is really American anymore.

I think the fact that so many people think he is the Savior in our weakest time is scary.. it reminds me of the German people and the rise of Hitler.. he came at a time when they were weak and mesmerized them into thinking he and only he could save them... much as Obama is doing.

Right now I thank God I am an American living out of country.

    Haha!!

The book of Revelations has been used by batty people to prophesise the end of the world for GENERATIONS! After Obama it'll only be someone else.

Plus - why would it be referring to America when no one knew it existed back then.

    Ahh fools.

Too bad he isn't from the east.... Hawaii is not 'east' of the US unless you take the long way around the globe.

No. I think this is just an attempt to frighten voters. In other words, typical Neocon tactics.

The mass fires (annually in So.California) and the mass floods and storms (Hurricanes Rita, Katrina, Gustav, Ike, <---like a little family) the degradation of our youth (MTV, BET, TV! period) it's already happening, not because of O. though

I don't know about the "end of days". I don't think I would take it that far, but I can say this... If Barack Obama wins and pulls our troops out too early, our enemy will hit us first where they missed us last. That last plane went down in the Pennsylvania field. They were headed for the White House. It's frightening.

Well I don't doubt what the bible says, but I suggest you learn geography before posting such an idiotic question.

I hope so. All Christians can get Raptured up and leave the world to the rest of us sensible people.
