Atheism or Agnostics supporting McCain/Palin?
Just curious if anyone who fits into that category is support them? This is a general question, so I don't want to hear your rep/dem crap or your religious crap, just a simple answer if you fit into this category, and why.

I'm an atheist for John McCain. I'm a registered Libertarian, but John McCain seems to be the best candidate. I'm not afraid to have a religious man in the White House. Thomas Jefferson wrote enough about separation of church and state for me to worry about the U.S. turning into a theocracy. Look at the last eight years. Did Bush make our country more religious? I don't think he did.

Atheist supporting Barr. Under McCain the national debt is projected to increase by $5 trillion, under Obama $3.4 trillion. $5 trillion amounts to a $20,000 loan for every man, woman, and child in America to go along with the $100,000 per person in local, state, and federal debt we already have.
Balancing the budget is absolutely a priority, and running this country using the same fiscal policies that are crippling Wall Street right now is a travesty.

I am a Protestant and I support McCain because I do not like Obama. This is more a question for the religious section though.I asked the same thing the other day and got about 72 responses from Satanists and Atheists who support Obama. No responses for McCain, just shows how Godless Dems are.

One of my best friends is an atheist. She is voting for McCain because she thinks he is more ready to lead. She does not think Obama has the experience needed, and she does not like the fact that he is friends with so many racists and criminals (Wright, Rezko, Ayres).
I don't think the religious or spiritual beliefs of the candidates, or lack of religious or spiritual beliefs in her case come into play at all.

Eh. I dont know my religious pigeonhole. I always classify myself as "spiritually independant". But I'm voting McCain

Atheist, McCalin/Palin. Because I'm a Republican that believes in strong defense and low taxes to keep the economy strong, and I see nothing good about the mentality of Democrats today with their unAmerican behavior during wartime, failure to see threats and their intolerance, bigotry and hypocrisy.

I'm agnostic and vote republican. Why? Because they are the lesser of two evils.

...And Jasmin goes for the typical political ranting about how 'godless' the Dems are. Condescending attitude towards people of a different belief system, as always.
I'm an Agnostic, supporting Obama.

ignorant statement WALTER P. Have you seen that the obama campaign is offering religious themed t-shirts for sale? If I based my vote solely on religion I wouldn't vote for either. obama is a scum bag, he will use any and all rhetoric to get your vote.
