What would happen to America if our minimum wage earners decided to quit?

Or got that better education I see everyone telling them to get.

Do you or don't you believe the minimum wage raise was a good thing for Americans?

If you do then why did McCain vote against it? Doesn't he understand these people need to live decently or is he wanting a welfare state?

    I support a living wage.

I support workers quiting walmart I hate that place.

I don't know McCain's rational for voting against it, the increase in minimum wage.

I think it's certainly a good thing to increase wages, scarey how we have people who live in these one bedroom low rent things eating microwave food trying to not be sick.

Most of us started out working for minimum wage, When I started working at 17, the minimum wage was $1.60 an hour. I think people either forget what it was like, or they were handed a job after mommie and daddy paid for college.

I fall the minimum wage earners decided to quit, there would be long lines at the unemployment and at welfare.

We'd have a thinner USA. The high school kids working minimum wage jobs would close down the fast food places.

I think a minimum wage is a good thing. Many Neo Cons and Democrats will need it in their 70's when they are greeting people at Wal Mart since they did such a piss poor job of planing for retirement.

Question: how will an elderly Neo Con feel about bagging my groceries in his dottage because he failed to fund a 401(k)? Will God feed him?

Im sure you could probally get more on welfare then even trying to work for min. wages. With the cost of living and not to mention the price of gas how can our people survive on min.wages.

Why do you think I'm not voting for McCain? As Obama said, it's hard to pull yourself up by your bootstraps when you don't have any boots.

Well then why don't they test that theory and go on strike then?

My suspicion: they'd have less spending money on weekends but they'd still live at home with their parents.

More high school kids and ex-cons would fill the positions.
