No, and I doubt she will ever run full time. Given that very few open wheelers have found success in NASCAR, and the NASCAR schedule, I don't think she has any real desire to switch. Her current contract will probabaly not allow her to run a "charity" event. She is too valuable to her team owner to have her risk injury. (I know that sounds silly, but alot of the big name drivers have clauses like that, when was the last time Jr ran a not NASCAR race?)

I know she has done some sportscar racing in the past, 24 hours of Daytona she shared a Daytona Prototype with Rusty Wallace.

With the unification of the Indy Racing League and Champ Car World Series there really is no need for her to look elsewhere to race. The IRL puts on great races usually lots of passing on their ovals and fantastic finishes to many races. BTW, the IRL is a 'spec' series now with only one chassis, one engine and one tire. All up to crew setup, team communication and driver ability.

I would not be surprised if in the future she does like Al Unser Jr did, he ran in one Daytona 500 for HMS. I would expect her to run the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard if she did. She is like Tony in that respect, they both love the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Though both prefer a win in the 500, the 400 will do for now.

Car18....Don't forget that Tony Stewart was an IRL champion before getting to the cup series. Robby Gordon and Casey Mears were in CART and the IRL before the Cup series also. Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, Ryan Newman and Ken Schrader all had sprint car experience on both dirt and asphalt...used to be the road to the Indy 500 though recently it has changed to be more of a route to NASCAR.

i think i remember her trying nascar for a few races last year , it may have been nationwide not cup but i am pretty sure she did . as i recall she didnt do too well and thats why she isnt still doing it
