A hacker cracks into Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's private e-mail account. ?

Palin had come under criticism for using non-government e-mail accounts to conduct state business. who has the blame? Palin or Yahoo? All I say is hacking is a crime and a violation of one's constitutional rights.

    I am a Obama supporter, yet I totally agree with you. It is a crime. We must play by the rules. I hope they get this hacker.

    I'm tired of people referring to this 20 yr old young man as a kid. I have a 20 yr old son in college who knows better than to break into someone elses personal email. It is illegal. Some keep suggesting it's her own fault and suggest that because he didn't "hack" into it, merely guessed her password and security questions, that it's no big deal. He did not accidentally do this; he had to made a concerted effort and admitted that he was trying to find some dirt on her in his explanation on gawker. Well. If he were the son of a republican lawmaker, his picture would be smeared all over the news media and democrats would be screaming for him to be publically flogged or strung up by his balls.

    The hacker will be caught and arrested

    NONE of the emails found in Palins private account were addressing or used to conduct any 'state business'

    Yahoo bears some responsibility for giving out the password.

    The hackers need 5 to 7 years jail time.

    They found out that it was the son of Democratic state representative Mike Kernell. If that was my son I will ship is **** to Iraq or put moose antlers on his head and let Palin hunt him down..

  • i would have so say both, they should be more secure and Palin should have used another source for conducting her professional work. I couldn't imagine e-mailing my clients from my AOL account and not my business account. Unprofessional i say.

    Oh please, so is the Patriot Act. Fair is fair, I think it's great the hackers did tat and I wish they'd do it to more politians. See how THEY like to be watched!

    Palin is to blame. Government officials use government email, she was an idiot to use yahoo.

    o not to mention :

    1. she conducted official state business using her personal, unarchived e-mail account ;

    (which is a crime

    2. she deleted one of the two accounts... "an act that could technically constitute destruction of evidence. "

    Don't feel sorry + gov already "hacked" her account because it WAS under investigation ( but obviously not public display

    PALIN!!! She's obviously hiding something she should be prosecuted.

    Why would Yahoo be to blame? They don't monitor email to make sure people aren't using them for off-the-records politics.
