How many calories in snot (the mucus from your sinuses)?
My theory is that it does have some and i should spit it out instead of letting it run down my throat or swallow it as i usually do. It would be very inconvenient, so it depends on how many calories it actually has. Also my bf says probably 6 calories per cup and i think it's probably 100-200 calories per cup. Of course it's not on any food lists but i'm swallowing it daily - more when i have a cold or allergies. i'm trying to lose weight and counting every calorie. what do you think?

I think you should spend more time exercising or planning healthy meal ideas and not worrying about mucus.
However, if you really have time for mucus thinking, you have too much time on your hands. But with that time, read about mucus below, it probably has a little bit of protein in it, but calories would be almost non existent. You body has to use calories to make it, so it really does not matter what you do with it.
